I installed several of these dimmers in 2020 and have had to replace every single one due to the rocker switch breaking. The issue is with the small plastic pins that hold the rocker portion into the switch housing. These are very fragile and mine have failed after only slight use. A waste of money in my opinion.easy to install and price was rightThis dimmer switch worked fine for 5 months, but has failed and no longer works. Since it has a 3 year warranty I reached out to the supplier but have received no response. What good is a 3 year warranty if the seller doesn't support it? I understand that sometimes things fail, but a wall mounted light switch should last years, not months and I would expect the seller to stand behind their product.I see a lot of reviews using the word "junk" to describe this product. Yes the description fits. Fell apart after only about 18 months and that was occasional use I installed it in our dining room. I wrote to Four Bros and got no response. Amazon has to do a better job of policing its product lines for inferior (junk) being sold on their website.I purchased 6 of these and they all failed within 6 months of installation. DO NOT BUY THESE.If you are wiring this dimmer for single pole rather than 3 pole, use the black wire and the red wire next to the green wire coming out of the back. This way the switch is on pushing the top and off pushing the bottom. If you use the red wire next to the black wire it switches the opposite way.I have been a lisc. contractor for 40 years in California, Hawaii and Michigan and never had a switch mechanically break. Don't waste you money....stick with name brands. Junk made by slaves.Broke before I could install it. Took it out of the package, gave the switch a click, and it broke: Cheesy little plastic bits.
